Arrest made in 2013 shooting death of Baby Marcus squib
Pittsburgh police on Saturday arrested a Wilkinsburg man in connection to the 2013 fatal shooting of a 1-year-old child.
Gregory Parker, 22, was charged with homicide in the death of Marcus White Jr., known as Baby Marcus. Two adults were also killed in the shooting, which happened in the 2300 block of East Hills Drive on May 21, 2013.
Investigators believe Parker fired the fatal round that went through Marcus’ aunt, who picked the baby up and tried to shield him from the gunfire.
Parker is also charged with criminal conspiracy, four counts of aggravated assault and gun charges.
